HTTP Basic Authentication
The HTTP Basic Authentication Plugin enforces HTTP Basic Authentication for selected Consumers for a Service, Route, or the gateway.
Plugin Properties

| Description | A brief description of the Plugin. |
| Consumers | The Consumers that may access the Service, Route, or Gateway if valid credentials are presented |
| Hide | Check this box if the Authorization header should be removed from the request before forwarding to the Service provider. |
| Enabled | Check this box to enable the plugin. |
