Use the release information supplied with your package to confirm its version, package identity, license eligibility, and availability. Check the installed program version using the VPROC commands in Install ActivCERT.
Datastore compatibility
The current programs use datastore schema 2. A schema-1 datastore requires a new initialization; restoring its files does not convert the schema. Preserve the complete existing datastore before an update, and follow Update ActivCERT for compatibility checks, replacement installation, and recovery planning.
