The complete CERTCOM reference describes commands, parameters, and supported syntax. For help matching your installed version, enter HELP, HELP <command> <object> or HELP MANUAL in CERTCOM.
CERTCOM startup and interaction
At TACL, RUN CERTCOM starts an interactive session. RUN CERTCOM $ACMON starts an interactive session and opens that monitor. Following the process name with commands runs an ordered batch and exits:
RUN CERTCOM $ACMON ; STATUS MONITOR
RUN CERTCOM $ACMON ; STATUS SESSION ; INFO DATASTORE
RUN CERTCOM OPEN $ACMON ; STATUS MONITOR
A failed OPEN prevents later commands from running. Batch errors produce a nonzero completion code. Keep quoted command values and semicolon separators intact. Interactive input supports unambiguous abbreviations; batch and command files should use full command, object and parameter names.
Use PAGESIZE -1 before HELP MANUAL to disable paging. OBEY/IN behavior, warning/error limits, history, editing and other interface commands are included in the complete command reference. A command can require particular parameter combinations or service state. Follow the linked User Guide procedures for these requirements.
