Description
The command was rejected before it changed product data.
Cause
The request did not satisfy a product rule or validation requirement, or selected a missing object or reference.
Effect
CERTCOM did not perform the requested operation.
Recovery
Correct the request using the reason in the message and retry the command. A missing-object reason identifies the actual type and name or selector; use its INFO next step to inspect configured objects before changing the reference.
ERROR 20102
ERROR 20102 NOT-PRIMARY: <reason>
Description
The command requires the active CERTMON primary process.
Cause
The open CERTMON session is connected to a process that is not the active primary.
Effect
CERTCOM did not perform the requested operation.
Recovery
Open a session with the active CERTMON primary process and retry the command.
ERROR 20103
ERROR 20103 NO-SESSION: <reason>
Description
The command requires an open CERTMON session.
Cause
CERTCOM has no open session with CERTMON.
Effect
CERTCOM did not perform the requested operation.
Recovery
Open a CERTMON session and retry the command.
ERROR 20104
ERROR 20104 NOT-IMPLEMENTED: <reason>
Description
The command is registered but its product behavior is not available.
Cause
The current ActivCERT version does not implement the requested operation.
Effect
CERTCOM did not perform the requested operation.
Recovery
Use a supported command or install an ActivCERT version that implements the operation.
ERROR 20105
ERROR 20105 FAILED: <reason>
Description
CERTCOM could not complete the command.
Cause
A local operation, datastore operation, monitor request, or output operation failed.
Effect
The requested operation did not complete.
Recovery
Use the reason in the message to correct the problem and retry the command.
ERROR 20106
ERROR 20106 DATASTORE-IN-USE: <file>
Description
A datastore file is open by another process.
Cause
CERTCOM could not obtain exclusive access to every datastore file.
Effect
CERTCOM preserved the existing datastore and did not replace it.
Recovery
Stop the process using the named datastore file and retry the command.
ERROR 20107
ERROR 20107 DATASTORE-INVALID: <reason>
Description
The datastore failed validation.
Cause
A required datastore file, record, or protection key is missing or invalid.
Effect
CERTCOM did not use or replace the datastore.
Recovery
Correct the reported datastore problem and retry the command.
ERROR 20108
ERROR 20108 DATASTORE-EXISTS: <location>
Description
The target location already contains datastore files.
Cause
CREATE DATASTORE was used at a location that already contains datastore files.
Effect
CERTCOM preserved the existing files.
Recovery
Choose an empty location or remove the existing datastore through the approved maintenance procedure.
ERROR 20109
ERROR 20109 MONITOR-COMMUNICATION: <reason>
Description
CERTCOM could not communicate with the selected CERTMON process.
Cause
The process could not be opened, stopped responding, returned an invalid administrative reply, or was replaced after the session opened.
Effect
CERTCOM cleared any unusable session state and did not perform the requested monitor operation.
Recovery
Confirm the active CERTMON primary process name, open a new session, and retry the command.
